Today is a really hot day here in the Southeast (where it's not raining anyway) and like everyone else, I have been whining about it.
I shouldn't. have complained, and I will tell you why.
It's Memorial Day, and I forgot about one important fact:
There are thousands upon thousands of service men and women who carry anywhere from 50-200 lbs on their backs that are in the desert, not just during summer (when it's supposed to be hot) but every single day of the year. Who am I to complain about a little sweat.
I'm nobody, that's who!
Godspeed to all our men and women in uniform.
